Final cover! Not only that, this is the final project for the school year. That means it is finally time to unleash all my focus on summer projects! and find a summer job...

Although I am currently trudging through the final week of the school year, that doesn't mean I can't brain storm for all the sweet art to be made in the coming months. Summer is the best time of year to really just crank stuff out and progress faster then you would think. This is just couple of sketches that have made its way from you sketch book to here. Will they go to at least a color stage? maybe...Could be sweet.
Can you say works in progress?! This first one here was a traditional piece that has rather quickly transformed into something totally new. I decided to take a few ques from that amazing artist Gregory Manchess and see how it goes. It isn't even close to being done, that's only like an hour or so of painting in photoshop over the original so I still have a good amount of work to do.
Although its always good to sketch from life, This is just not interesting enough to post all by itself. But don't fret! I will be posting more soon. The final "Void" paint will be here before you know it along with thumbs for further summer projects. Just you wait!
For the past week or so I have been trying any and all approaches to using the different water based paints I have. This is pretty much just Acrylics, Watercolor and Gouache. So far I'm having the most fun on with Gouache. So don't be surprised if more of these little characters show up. I'm just going through people I know, and I am having a blast haha.
